The National Legislative Program Evaluation Society recently awarded the PEER Committee a 2024 Certificate of Impact for the 2022 report A Review of the Mississippi Board of Barber Examiners. This report resulted in documented policy changes (the merging of the Cosmetology and Barber Boards and other improvements to state law) and received considerable attention from the media.
